Artists of Brasília

  Mateus was born in  Brasilia , capital of  Brazil . By early adolescence, he was already working in small services. Seeking his personal independence and investing in his acting career, he moved to  Washington, D.C.  alone and then to  Lisbon ,  Portugal . After some time, he returned to live with his mother in  Rio de Janeiro . He holds a degree in Performing Arts from the  Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro .

Patricia Gadelha Pillar was born on January 11, 1964 in Brasilia, Brazil. She is a Brazilian actress, television presenter, director and producer. She moved to Rio de Janeiro at the age of fourteen and started her career in 1983 in the cinema in Para Viver um Grande Amor, playing Marina. Two years later, she made her television debut as host of the music video program FM TV, on Rede Manchete. However, her first soap opera was in Roque Santeiro, from Rede Globo, in the role of Linda Bastos.

Camila Márdila was born in Brasília on February 21, 1988, and before joining the artistic universe, she studied Social Communication at the University of Brasília, where she started working in several areas of cinema.  She decided to be an actress with at 14 years old, but in Brasília there was little cultural production and contacts with producers, so she collected money to try to succeed in her career in Rio de Janeiro.

     Luíza Dornas, for a really long time was director of Fundação Cultural of DF, now dedicates her time to glass work. Using extremely high temperatures, she melts glass, finding other shapes and colors. She turns old glass bottles into beautiful art works that takes about 3 days to finish.       Roberta almeida is a Brazilian singer, actress and dancer. She was born on July 7th, 1986 in Brasília. She is the sister of Roberto Almeida a singer, actor and director and of Tânia Mara a singer. She is married to Tom Gonçalves a musician. Her latest work was in the novel "Em Família" where she played the character Sandra.  

          Júlia dos Santos Baptista was born and raised in Brasília and, since a little girl, her paintings were famous among other kids. She shares and sells her art in many international expositions. She paints with bright and strong colors, rescuing her childhood in Brasília, a newborn city . Today her work  reflects social educational problems, politics, culture and urban life, incentivizing the public to reflect.
